Tip #1 – Generate More Traffic to Your Website

Traffic generation is one of the most important elements of getting more customers through online marketing.  Here are a few tips on how to make sure you are maximizing the amount of traffic being directed to your site:

  • Become the #1 authority in your local market for your product or service by showing up at the top in local search, natural search and PPC ads
  • Use social media to get the “buzz” going locally.  Make your presence known on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Write articles and record videos, podcasts and slide show presentations; then strategically distribute/publish them to top sites using proper SEO

Create your business listings online in the major directories (such as Yahoo) and the local directories (such as Local; Localize); then submit to review directories (such as Kudzu, Yelp)
